As part of the efforts to continue supporting the consolidation of economic reactivation in companies, the Bogota Chamber of Commerce (CCB) is launching the Digital Transformation Program in the healthcare sector, a strategy that seeks to strengthen the technological maturity of healthcare service providers and open a space for those technological platforms that seek to publicize their products.

Through the program, businessmen and businesswomen will innovate in the process of providing health services, contributing to strengthening the quality of care for their patients. The program is aimed at IPS of medium and low complexity, medical offices, dentists and optometrists, the CCB will provide through training and free advice specialized support in strengthening the digital transformation, administrative and commercial capabilities to improve the quality of services to patients. According to figures presented by the Minister of Health, Fernando Ruíz, within the framework of the implementation of digital transformation and interoperability, 165 million services were provided in the country through different telehealth services, tele-guidance and teleconsultations in a period of 2 years. "all Latin American countries face the same challenge: health systems that have access and coverage, but digital integration and transformation have been left in the rearguard and are not at the forefront of the actions to be consolidated. This is where the importance of consolidating a common agenda for the digital development of healthcare systems lies. The challenges are similar, semantic and syntactic standards, which is why we can move forward together for integrated work". To serve companies interested in being part of the program, the CCB has made available the website www.ccb.org.co/salud, where they can link and begin to strengthen their digital capabilities. The requirements to be part of this program are: - Be an IPS, medical office, dentist, optometrist and E-Health technology platform. - To have an updated Commercial Register in the Bogota Chamber of Commerce. Juan Carlos González, Vice President of Competitiveness of the CCB, stated that "During the year 2021, with the development of the flagship program of economic reactivation in health, the CCB, in collaboration with allies, organized workshops, lectures and webinars to raise awareness on topics of interest such as regulations and digital appropriation for the sector. More than 660 companies participated and 130 companies implemented a digital solution, demonstrating that the sector is avid in the search for new technologies to automate its processes and be at the forefront in scientific and administrative terms. The dynamics of the sector • The pandemic and subsequent global crisis created gaps in supply chains and industry infrastructure. It demonstrated the fragility of many business models. Technology became the channel for developing efficient therapeutic interventions, optimizing processes and resources, and increasing confidence in healthcare and data management. • In the case of Bogota and the Region, the health sector generates more than 177,530 direct jobs, with sales of more than $38 billion pesos and a participation of the MSME segment of almost $4 billion pesos. The number of companies with codes related to the provision of health services registered by 2021 is around 7,500 companies, 98% of which are MSMEs.

The flagship programs of the Bogota Chamber of Commerce The CCB's commitment for 2022 is to continue implementing programs to contribute to the strengthening and consolidation of the reactivation of several of the sectors that were strongly affected by the pandemic. Thus, in addition to the economic reactivation program for drugstores and health food stores, this year programs will be launched that will benefit companies in the real estate, energy efficiency, beauty and wellness, fashion, gastronomy, creative industries, health, tourism, digital, financial and logistics solutions segments.
