50 establishments selected to participate in the first CCB gastronomic festival: Gastrofest

17 November 2022- From November 25 to December 4, the Bogota Chamber of Commerce will hold the first edition of Gastrofest.

From November 25 to December 4, local flavor will be cooked in Bogota. This is Gastrofest, the new initiative of the Bogota Chamber of Commerce that seeks to promote and position the city's gastronomic offer through tours of different localities and areas, with unique products and menus, designed under quality and sustainability criteria.

The 50 establishments selected, from among the 150 gastronomic proposals that were submitted, passed rigorous technical were presented, passed through rigorous technical criteria defined by the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce, with the support of the District of Bogota. This CCB initiative not only contemplates the commercialization of the menus or gastronomic proposals of 50 finalist restaurants, but also a process that has included activities such as business diagnostics of the finalist companies; valorization of the gastronomic offers of the entrepreneurs through mentoring processes that generate value; business strengthening of the 50 proposals and a showcase to the public of the restaurants with their gastronomic proposals. The mentoring team was composed of: María Angélica Bernal from the hotel restaurant Casa Lélyté; Camila Vélez - Mistral Panadería; Mar Díaz - Restaurants Chino Dim Sum and Amen Ramen; Willans Lucumí, professor of the School of Gastronomy of the Universidad del Área Andina and La Salle Collage; Luis Fernando la Salle Collage; Luis Fernando Peñuela, partner and gastronomic director of Kalpata; Camilo Ernesto Durán, founder of Ernesto Durán, founder of the Beer Larder® brand, and Luis Fernando Vélez of Amor Perfecto.
