In its commitment to promote and make visible the talent and growth of the Colombian audiovisual industry, the Bogotá Audiovisual Market - BAM, a cultural program of the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce and Proimágenes Colombia, opens the calls for all ideas, projects and talents to participate in its 14th edition, which will take place from July 10 to 14, 2023. The BAM categories seek to strengthen each stage of the production of an audiovisual project, from the conceptualization of the story to its completion and circulation.

BAM is an unmissable event for the country's audiovisual industry, which aims to disseminate Colombian audiovisual content and services. It connects the national and international audiovisual sector to strengthen the local industry, in order to generate business, increase the visibility of its participants and boost the growth of companies.

In its first call for proposals, which will run through February 6, 2023, the BAM opens 4 categories for the participation of new projects and creators. The category STORIES - SCRIPTS is aimed at national audiovisual writers who wish to transfer their stories from paper to image. The categories FILMPROJECTS - LONGS IN DEVELOPMENT and SERIES PROJECTS - SERIES IN DEVELOPMENT invite feature and serialized film projects seeking financing alternatives to continue their production process. The category ANIMATION - ANIMATION IN DEVELOPMENT is aimed exclusively at serialized animation projects focused on children's audiences from 3 to 14 years of age and feature films for all audiences seeking financing alternatives to continue their production and completion process.

In order to provide the best support to the selected content, the Bogota Audiovisual Market - BAM creates a pre-market strengthening route with a business diagnosis that will reveal the areas in which the production company needs to be strengthened and will provide specific advice focused on these areas. Those selected will then be able to present their projects during business meetings organized by the BAM team, tailored to the needs and opportunities of each content. In 2022, 422 business appointments were organized between selected content and buyers.

STORIES

Aimed at Colombian writers of fiction stories for feature films and/or serialized content interested in meeting other actors and possible allies for the production of their projects.

PROJECTS

This call seeks feature film or serialized fiction and/or documentary projects in development that seek to strengthen their promotion and financing tools.

ANIMATION

Aimed at production companies and animation studios that have an animated project in development and are focused on audiences from three to eleven years old.
