The Bogota Chamber of Commerce invites startups to participate in Mujeres Tech, an acceleration program aimed at women who lead startups and are interested in making them grow exponentially.

This acceleration model begins with the definition of an expansion plan according to the challenges that have been proposed and then the CCB accompanies the entrepreneurs week by week with a team of mentors and consultants to implement the plan.

Some of the challenges faced by the startups are to increase sales, gain new users, access investment, expand the network of contacts, among others.

Requirements

Interested companies must have between 2 and 7 years of continuous operation in the market, have reported sales of more than $250 million in 2022, demonstrate growth during the time of operation and have a team that includes a minimum of responsible people in technology, marketing, administrative and financial management. Those who are selected must be available for 8 hours of work per week.

Benefits

Among the main benefits for the selected companies is to develop exponential thinking; provide knowledge and tools to access the right markets and customers; review and adjust the sales and marketing strategy.

Juan David Castaño, vice president of business strengthening of the CCB said that "In our acceleration model we work not only in defining and implementing the expansion plan of the startups, but in developing in our tech women a growth mindset to generate connections, lead their team and reach the next level".

Likewise, we seek to achieve an efficient approach in the realization of business and opportunities; improve the financial structure and the Pitch Deck; and achieve adequate access to financing.

This program has been in effect since 2020 and has benefited 112 startups in Bogota and the region.
