Bogotá, January 16, 2025. The Board of Directors of the Bogota Chamber of Commerce elected in ordinary session Dr. Enrique Vargas Lleras as the new president of this organization.
Dr. Vargas is a lawyer from Universidad del Rosario with a diploma in International Humanitarian Law and an expert in Public Contracting. He is currently senior partner of the firm Vargas Abogados y Cía. Ltda., a law firm dedicated mainly to legal advice in the field of public and private law, especially in matters related to telecommunications, public services, insurance and commercial trusts.
Dr. Juan Pablo Fajardo Rodriguez, of the firm ART Books Ediciones SAS, was elected as Vice President of the Board of Directors of the CCB. Dr. Fajardo is a business administrator from Colegio de Estudios Superiores de Administración CESA, specialist in Strategic Marketing from Colegio de Estudios Superiores de Administración CESA. His training has been focused on the commercial and marketing area and he is a specialist in business reorganization.
The two members of the Board are representatives of the business community.
