The Chambers of Commerce managed in 2024 the postponement of the entry into force of the Decree to reduce the effects on companies.
The Bogota Chamber of Commerce thanks entrepreneurs for their commitment to keep their businesses up to date, and invites them to continue enjoying the portfolio of services at their disposal to boost their competitiveness.
Bogota, May 2025. The Bogota Chamber of Commerce celebrates the commitment of the businessmen of Bogota and the Region with the renewal of the 2025 commercial registration, which was done for the first time under the new fee structure reflected in Decree 0045 of January 30, 2024, promoted by the National Government. In Bogota and the region, the renewal process closed with more than 461,000 registrations renewed. It is worth noting that 91% of these are micro-enterprises that benefited from the new tariff, where sectors such as services and commerce are present. For example, micro-companies had an average rate reduction of 6.6%. Of the remaining 9%, in some cases there was a considerable increase. The CCB thanks all the companies that updated their rates and invites them to take advantage of the robust portfolio of services that the Entity has at their disposal to boost their competitiveness with support and tools tailored to their needs.
Of the 461,314 registrations that were renewed as of March 31, 153,715 were individuals; 131,675 were legal entities; and 175,924 were commercial establishments. “The Bogota Chamber of Commerce, Confecámaras and the other Chambers of Commerce of the country sought that the implementation of these rates be applied from 2025 and not from 2024 as it had been established to minimize any type of affectation, above all, of the larger scale companies, today, we can celebrate the commitment of all businessmen with the process. Undoubtedly, their role and contribution has been, is and will continue to be fundamental to continue building the future of our country”, said Ovidio Claros, president of the CCB.
