The Chaining Roundtable expects to generate immediate business for more than $2 billion pesos and to prepare local entrepreneurs who will participate in the great international business roundtable RVMBO 2025 scheduled for July 14, 15 and 16.
Bogota, May 2025. With the aim of strengthening tourism as an engine of economic development for the city and the region, the Bogota Chamber of Commerce (CCB), the District Institute of Tourism (IDT) and the Bogota Convention Bureau will hold the RVMBO 2025 Chaining Roundtable next Tuesday, May 27 at the Salitre headquarters of the CCB.
The meeting, which is an activity prior to RVMBO 2025, will bring together more than 160 companies, including buyers and suppliers of vacation tourism and meetings (MICE), in a space designed to facilitate business partnerships, direct contracting opportunities and strategic connections that boost competitiveness and strengthen the value chain of the tourism sector in Bogota.
During the event, more than 800 business appointments will be scheduled between 48 buyers and 118 suppliers, who make up a varied offer of products and services related to cultural, nature, adventure and sports tourism, among others, where they will offer accommodation services, gastronomy, specialized transportation and cultural experiences, which will build on the city's entertainment offer.
The Chaining Round not only aims to generate immediate business for more than $2,000 million pesos, but also seeks to strengthen the preparation of local entrepreneurs who will participate in the great international business round RVMBO 2025 scheduled for next July.
Ovidio Claros Polanco, executive president of the Bogota Chamber of Commerce, stated: "With economic articulation events, such as this linkage roundtable, we ratify our commitment to strengthening value chains, connecting entrepreneurs and contributing to the dynamization and growth of the sector, with a competitive, sustainable and inclusive approach. In this way, we continue to advance in the positioning of Bogota not only as a travel destination, but also as an epicenter of high-value tourism businesses".
Andrés Santamaría, director of the District Institute of Tourism, assured that: "this Chaining Roundtable is a key prelude to the great appointment of RVMBO 2025. From the District Institute of Tourism we are committed to the generation of spaces that promote marketing, strengthen strategic alliances and energize the value chain of the tourism sector in Bogota. More than 160 companies of the tourism ecosystem are connecting today to do business, generate employment and improve the competitiveness of our city as a destination. Betting on tourism as an economic engine is betting on the sustainable development of Bogota and its positioning as the epicenter of tourism business in Latin America and the world. In addition, promoting this type of events contributes directly to the generation of employment and has a positive impact on the city's Gross Domestic Product (GDP)."

RVMBO 2025
The RVMBO 2025 Chaining Roundtable, to be held on July 14, 15 and 16 at the Salitre headquarters of the CCB, is part of a comprehensive strategy to promote smart and sustainable tourism in Bogota. With this event, the Bogota Chamber of Commerce, the IDT and the Bogota Convention Bureau seek to project tourism as an effective tool for the economic, social and territorial development of the capital.
