Mincomercio and Chambers of Commerce sign addendum in favor of the business community

- Working for the popular economy, providing technical assistance and co-financing for the sustainability of companies with Productivity Factories, and promoting entrepreneurial projects are some of the initiatives that will be carried out jointly.

Bogota, February 18, 2025. The Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, Luis Carlos Reyes Hernández; the president of Confecámaras, Julián Domínguez, and the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá and president of the Board of Directors of Confecámaras, Ovidio Claros Polanco, signed the Addendum 2025 in which they ratify their agreement to promote the productive development of the country.

With the work route, 15 strategic lines of action were defined to promote competitiveness, productivity, innovation and formalization of the national productive apparatus.

Thus, they will work to promote the popular economy, provide technical assistance and co-financing for the sustainability of companies with Productivity Factories; promote projects for entrepreneurs and productive units; and design and implement programs for cluster initiatives.

Ovidio Claros Polanco, president of the CCB, stated that “for the first time an addendum has been signed with the 58 Chambers of Commerce and the Ministry to work together in favor of the popular economy and the business fabric, implementing the policies of the CCB within the framework of the National Development Plan”.
