Learn about 36 business stories that generate social impact

09 October 2023-This season tells the stories of 36 entrepreneurs from Bogota and the municipalities under the jurisdiction of the Bogota Chamber of Commerce (CCB).
-The chapters will be launched weekly starting on September 18 and will be available on the platform soyempresario.ccb.org.co, as well as on the CCB's YouTube and Facebook channels.
-Participating companies received 10 hours of in-person and virtual training to build powerful stories and a workshop on non-verbal communication and image with journalist and writer Pilar Castaño.

Bogota, September 2023. The Bogota Chamber of Commerce (CCB) launched the 2023 season of its Web Series #SoyEmpresario #SoyEmpresaria after the success of previous editions, which reached more than 27 million people and 4.5 million views on YouTube and Facebook.

This new season focuses on real stories of 36 Colombian companies such as Arte Jardín, Bia energy, Casa Meisner, among others, which, through the voices of their creators, share topics related to the social impact they generate, their differentiating factors in today's competitive market, among other characteristics that will serve as motivation for those seeking to start or expand their own business.

The chapters will be launched every week from September 18 and will be available on the platform of the Bogota Chamber of Commerce soyempresario.ccb.org.co , as well as on its YouTube and Facebook channels. This campaign will be supported by a digital promotion strategy in social networks and digital paid media for the visibility of the stories of entrepreneurs.

In this regard, Ricardo Nates, president in charge of the Bogota Chamber of Commerce, said that, "At the Bogota Chamber of Commerce we are convinced that companies and entrepreneurs are articulators of the progress of Bogota and the Region, therefore, we seek to contribute, from different fronts, to its consolidation and development with enriching strategies such as our Web Series".

It is worth noting that the participants were selected for being part of the different initiatives and programs offered by the Bogota Chamber of Commerce, obtaining this visibility with an additional benefit. In addition, the 36 entrepreneurs who will participate in this season had access to a 10-hour on-site and virtual training to build powerful stories, position themselves as entrepreneurs and show the impact of their organization. In addition, this group of entrepreneurs was part of a non-verbal communication and image training with journalist and writer Pilar Castaño, recognized for her work in the field of fashion.

Ómar Pérez, renowned former soccer player, is one of the protagonists of the series in his role as businessman of Santiago del Estero | Parrilla Argentina, located in Chía. The businessman commented that "The goals to be achieved depend on many things and these are great tools for those of us who did not know all these spaces".

G. Prieta, a company that manufactures turbans not only for people who want to wear them as an accessory but also for people undergoing chemotherapy, is another of the protagonists. Geiber Aguilar, its owner, said that "the contribution that the CCB has given to the company has been in the workshops received and in the spaces in fairs that have been opened for small and medium entrepreneurs".

Jesus Leonardo Araque, owner and partner of Arte Jardin and participant of this season assures that "From selling outside churches on Sundays, we went to shopping malls and we found the need to register with the Chamber of Commerce of Bogota, realizing that what began as a dream was already a reality".

About the #SoyEmpresario #Soyempresaria campaign

The "Soy Empresario - Soy Empresaria" campaign is an umbrella communications strategy of the CCB that seeks to put the entrepreneur at the center, tell their stories and vindicate their role. This initiative has a podcast with 17 interviews that were downloaded more than 11,500 last year alone.

This initiative was consolidated in several international media as the first cookieless campaign in Colombia, with which the Bogota Chamber of Commerce innovated in new ways of advertising. The campaign achieved a 21% increase in the CTR (Click Through Rate) indicator in its cookieless campaign and was 76% more viewed by Internet users.
