Las mipymes en Bogotá y la Región representan el 97% del tejido empresarial

01 June 2021- En Bogotá y la Región hay 368.584 mipymes, de las cuales 345.317 son micro, 18.163 pequeñas, y 5.104 medianas.
- Bogotá y la Región es un territorio de servicios. Del total de mipymes activas 197.374 pertenecen a ese sector, 50.017 al sector industria, y 121.193 al sector comercio.
- El 25% de las empresas son lideradas por mujeres (89.550), el 31% por hombres (116.537) y el 43% no informa el género.
- La Cámara de Comercio de Bogotá reinvierte los recursos que recibe por el registro mercantil en más de 500 servicios gratuitos para este segmento para lograr empresas sostenibles.

Bogotá, April 2023. Despite the difficulties brought by the pandemic, businessmen in Bogotá and the Region continue forward. As of March 31, more than 495,799 company registration renewals with their commercial establishments were carried out.

The total number of renewed productive units registered an increase of approximately 3% compared to the same renewal period of 2022, which is a reflection of business confidence in the economic development of Bogotá and its region.

For several years now, businessmen in Bogotá and its region have made high use of virtual services, achieving that 94.6% of renewal forms are completed online. Of these entrepreneurs who renewed virtually, 53.5% made the payment through the entity's portal www.ccb.org.co or and 12.5% in a bank, which represented a similar behavior to the year 2022.

Nicolás Uribe Rueda, president of the CCB, assured that “These results of the registration renewal show us the consolidation of the business fabric, after two years of recovery. From the CCB we remain committed to entrepreneurs and businessmen, strengthening the business fabric through business strengthening services”.

Entrepreneurs who renewed their commercial registration will be able to access nearly 600 free services, for the strengthening, transformation of their businesses, increase in sales, access to platforms such as Bazzarbog to insert themselves into electronic commerce, among others.

The CCB will continue to accompany businessmen so that they can consolidate their reactivation consolidation process.
