Bogota, July 13 2023. The Bogota Chamber of Commerce (CCB) is committed to strengthening entrepreneurship and business of micro, small and medium-sized companies in the region in the 59 municipalities of Cundinamarca where the entity has jurisdiction. For this reason, the entity has more than 600 free services available.
In 2023, more than 3,600 entrepreneurs have participated in our services directly in each of the municipalities of the jurisdiction; their greatest interest has focused on four services of the CCB: Route 5 Strategies to grow your business, Learn to Sell by WhatsApp, ESALES Management and Transforming Ideas into Opportunities; the entity works on strengthening a comprehensive offer of services that can respond to the needs identified in the MSMEs of the region.
Route 5 Strategies to grow your business includes topics associated with digital marketing, business formalization, digital tools, accounting and business administration; social media management to sell more, which provide tools for business management to businesses.
Regarding Management of non-profit entities ESALES, one of the main bets of 2023 is the associative strengthening that allows recognizing the contribution of social organizations of the popular economy in economic development, poverty reduction and employment generation, therefore we seek to ensure an offer that allows strengthening their capabilities.
Digital appropriation must be understood as an engine of opportunities for equality; therefore, the CCB permanently offers tools so that companies can be more competitive in a scenario marked by digital transformation, providing training and tools for rapid implementation. That is why services such as Learn how to sell through WhatsApp, how to sell through social networks, among others, allow us to advance in this purpose.
And entrepreneurs will find all the tools to turn their ideas into opportunities.

MSMEs lead the way in Cundinamarca
Of the 62,061 active companies in the 59 municipalities of the region in which the CCB has jurisdiction, 94.6% are micro-enterprises; 3.6% are small; 1.3% are medium-sized and only 0.5% are large. This means that almost the entire business fabric of the region is made up of MSMEs (99.5%). In addition, the service sector is the most robust in Cundinamarca with 49% of the companies, while 36% are in the commerce sector and 15% in industry.
