Bogota, March 2025. Gastrofest, the gastronomic festival organized by the Bogota Chamber of Commerce (CCB), returns in 2025 full of novelties, changes and more opportunities for participating gastronomic establishments to grow their businesses. This meeting becomes a unique scenario to make their businesses visible, strengthen their value proposition and connect with thousands of diners.

In its fourth edition, the festival seeks to exalt local Colombian ingredients as a gastronomic pantry, promoting gastro-tourist experiences through the participants in Bogota and Cundinamarca. Until April 30, restaurants, pastry shops, bakeries, pastry shops, cafes and craft breweries can apply to be part of this experience, which this year brings more spaces for training, support and new ways to bring gastronomy closer to the people.

Ovidio Claros Polanco, president of the Bogota Chamber of Commerce, stated that “Gastrofest is our commitment to a sector that makes a strong contribution to employment, since one out of every five jobs in the country depends on the agri-food sector. For this reason, this year we expanded our presence in Gastrofest by 42%, reaching more establishments and becoming a strategic opportunity for gastronomic businesses to improve their competitiveness and strengthen their relationship with diners”.

This is how Gastrofest 2025 will be experienced

After the call for proposals closes, a team of gastronomy and business experts will select 200 establishments (130 in Bogotá and 70 in Cundinamarca).

The 200 selected proposals will be announced in June. The beneficiary companies will receive specialized support that includes mentoring, technical advice and strategies to optimize customer service during the festival. Participants will also receive eight hours of specialized individual coaching by an industry expert, according to the key topic for their business (outreach or communication, production and costs) and will have space in the Gastrofest Catalog on digital channels.

Of these, 60 outstanding establishments will receive up to four hours of specialized individual support by an industry expert and will join a strategy of disclosure and dissemination of their offer through a massive promotion in three “Gastrofest Territories”, two in Bogota and one in Cundinamarca, to be defined according to the agglomeration of the gastronomic offer of the participants and its complementarity with the cultural, tourist and entertainment offer related to the territory.
