La CCB

Bogota, June 2025. In the framework of World Sustainable Gastronomy Day, the Bogota Chamber of Commerce announced the 200 selected participants of Gastrofest, the entity's gastronomic festival, and invited entrepreneurs from Bogota and the region to join the Pact for Sustainable Gastronomy.
After a call for applications from more than 300 participants, those selected for this edition of Gastrofest 2025 will participate with a focus on local products and the strengthening of their businesses. Signature, traditional, casual and popular cuisine restaurants, as well as bakeries, pastry shops, cafes and craft breweries, make up this diverse and representative sample of the culinary talent of Bogota and Cundinamarca.
Gastrofest is a unique scenario to make your business visible, strengthen your value proposition and connect with thousands of diners. This edition is loaded with novelties and more opportunities for entrepreneurs to promote gastro-tourist experiences in Bogota and Cundinamarca through local Colombian ingredients as a gastronomic pantry. Gastrofest was launched together with the Colombian Association of Chefs (ASOCOLCHEF) and CityHuertas.
Ovidio Claros Polanco, president of the Bogota Chamber of Commerce, said "Gastrofest is a long-term commitment of the CCB that allows us to complement our support to the agricultural, agro-industrial and gastronomic sector. In this edition we will strengthen more establishments in Bogota and Cundinamarca, so that they can promote their businesses at no cost and continue to bring citizens closer to the local flavor and tourism".
A platform for growth and visibility
The selected establishments will receive specialized support in business, financial and communication areas, and will participate in contests, visibility activities and the Gastrofest 2025 Directory. This initiative seeks to strengthen the local gastronomic ecosystem, promoting responsible and sustainable business models.
Pact for Sustainable Gastronomy
The announcement was made during a special event at the Chapinero headquarters of the CCB, which highlighted the importance of sustainable gastronomy as a driver of economic, social and environmental development. The program included conferences, culinary demonstrations and the symbolic signing of the Pact for Sustainable Gastronomy, with a decalogue that affirms the sector's commitment to a conscious transformation.
