Bogotá, September 27, 2023.Today, at the Board of Directors of the Bogota Chamber of Commerce, Dr. Ovidio Claros Polanco was elected Executive President of the entity, who will occupy the position as from October 2 of this year.
Dr. Ovidio Claros is a lawyer from Universidad Libre. He has specializations in Public Law, Universidad Nacional de Colombia; in Health Services Management, Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano; and in Environmental Law from Universidad del Rosario. He also completed an executive master's degree in Marketing Management at the Escuela de Organización Industrial de Madrid (Spain).
He has served as a magistrate of the disciplinary chamber of the Superior Council of the Judiciary, being the highest judicial authority of the Colombian territory; as comptroller of Bogotá; representative to the Chamber of Deputies, and has been a teacher and university professor.
The Board of Directors congratulates and welcomes Dr. Claros and wishes him success in his administration.
