In light of the difficulties that business owners have faced over the past two years to continue to operate amidst the pandemic and shutdowns, unprecedented challenges are posed for the next leaders in terms of economic development and a better business environment.
For this reason, the Bogota Chamber of Commerce consulted the main needs of businessmen through a survey that reveals their concerns about eight issues, which will be analyzed in the framework of debates with candidates to the House of Representatives for Bogota and Cundinamarca.
The topics to be discussed are freedom of enterprise; public safety and justice as the basis of the business environment; business strengthening; development of the country through the sectoral economic model; labor policy; competitiveness; public finances and macroeconomics; and responsible business conduct.
First debate On February 22 at 8:00 a.m. the debate with candidates delegated by the parties of candidates to the House of Representatives for Bogota will be held at the CCB's Chapinero Business Center, located at Calle 67 No 8-32 floor -1 (Auditorium).
Second debate On February 24 at 8:00 a.m. the debate of the candidates to the House of Representatives for Cundinamarca will be held at the Institución Universitaria Colegios de Colombia (Unicoc), located at Autopista Norte km 4.5 (Chía).
