Bogota, November 2022. Bogota Madrid Fusion - BMF, the commercial platform for the gastronomic sector of the Bogota Chamber of Commerce and the Vocento Group of Spain, will hold its third edition from December 1-3, 2022 at Corferias. This year, the platform aims to vindicate gastronomy as a tool for social transformation through a meeting space for the gastronomic sector, conferences, learning and marketing spaces. It also aims to continue contributing to the positioning of Bogota and the region as the epicenter of gastronomy in Latin America.
Under the slogan A thousand cuisines, one identity, BMF presents 27 lectures and 8 master workshops that make up the III Congress of High Gastronomy; the First Entrepreneurship Fair, a trade fair that seeks to support MSMEs and new Colombian proposals; the Business Roundtable, a space for industry relations; a multipurpose stage with special programming; and a space for gastronomic experiences that seeks to highlight the traditional cuisines of different regions of the country.
The Congress will bring together more than 30 national and international chefs, including Fatmata Binta (Accra, Ghana), Andreas Krolik (Frankfurt, Germany), Ricard Camarena (Valencia, Spain), Atsushi Tanaka (Japan - France), Rasmus Munk (Copenhagen, Denmark), Leonor Espinosa (Bogotá, Colombia), Narda Lepes (Buenos Aires, Argentina) and Rodolfo Guzmán (Santiago de Chile, Chile), who will take the main stage to present their gastronomic projects and new trends in international haute cuisine. Tickets to attend the Congress are available at www.bogotamadridfusion.co until December 3, 2022.
As for commercial spaces, the First Entrepreneurship Fair will bring together restaurants, bars, cafes, bakeries, pastry shops, confectionery, catering companies, professional conference operators, hotels and hotel chains, compensation funds, universities, companies in the delivery sector, consumer stores, among others. The business roundtable will bring together buyers and suppliers of the national gastronomy value chain, in order to improve and create new businesses.
Bogota Madrid Fusion - BMF is part of the great commitment of the Bogota Chamber of Commerce (CCB) to the gastronomic sector, which also involves the Food and Gastronomy Cluster Initiative, which provides permanent support to companies in the sector, contributes to the identification of gaps that limit competitiveness and generates projects that seek to overcome them. It also includes the GastroFest gastronomic festival, whose first edition will take place simultaneously with BMF, from November 24 to December 4.
