The 110 selected brands have had specialized accompaniment since September 2023 and until May with 600 hours of training and consulting focused on two axes:
Product, sales and fashion communication: This axis of training was led by the Inquire Studio team, who provided communication tools to create retail circulation strategies, determine the DNA and narrative of the brand, in addition to providing strategies to develop their products. The training was developed through virtual workshops on scrapbooking and storytelling; product development and merchandising; communication strategies; sustainable practices and brand pitch preparations.
International trade: Through knowledge in negotiations, good practices in import and export, the DO2 team provided tools to impact the participants and achieve the internationalization of their businesses.Through personalized sessions, participants were accompanied in identifying the international target markets for each brand; final prices and deliverables were reviewed; and sales processes to international wholesale clients were simulated.
María Paz Gaviria, Manager of the CCB's Cultural Programs, stated that:“The business preparation for the market that Bogota Fashion Week provides to independent design brands has strengthened the 110 participating brands, which in the seventh edition of Bogota Fashion Week will be reflected in the Wholesale, Catwalks and Multibrand Store spaces.
