Bogota, August 2023. After the successful closing of the fourteenth version of the Bogota Audiovisual Market - BAM - with 1,622 attendees in the country's capital, the audiovisual industry market is ready for its arrival in Cali, Pasto, Pereira and Santa Marta between August and November 2023. This initiative seeks to boost the supply of national audiovisual content and connect it with demand to strengthen the national industry and thus make it more competitive and sustainable internationally.

This expansion of the initiative of the Bogota Chamber of Commerce (CCB) and Proimágenes Colombia returns to the regions in alliance with the Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies (MinTIC), a union generated since 2021 with which BAM has taken the market experience to 9 cities in the country, identifying and learning from the local industry and providing visibility and training to its producers, filmmakers, companies, students and different stakeholders.

With 13 allied entities, 630 accredited participants at the regional level and 81 activities developed, BAM Regions has established itself as a fundamental space for the recognition and visibility of the industry at the regional level and has generated important local networks for the development of new content and the participation of new filmmakers and audiovisual producers in the various calls for proposals from MinTIC, the Film Development Fund (FDC) and the BAM.
