Bogota, Colombia, February 2025. ARTBO, the arts program of the Bogota Chamber of Commerce (CCB), announced the opening of the call for national and international galleries for the 21st edition of ARTBO - International Art Fair of Bogota.
This event, recognized as one of the most important platforms for art in Latin America, will be held from September 25 to 28, 2025.ARTBO | Fair is one of the five initiatives of the ARTBO program that take place throughout the year, among which are ARTBO | Weekend; ARTBO | Salas and Salas Itinerante; ARTBO | Tutor and ARTBO | Trama.
ARTBO | Fair's main objective is to position Bogota as a key destination for culture and business, energizing the national and international art scene. The Fair fosters commercial relations, the dissemination of artistic offerings and creates a space for the encounter of all audiences, where education, cultural exchange and art appreciation take place.
In its 2025 edition it will continue to bet on a vertical format; this venue allows attendees to enjoy an immersive and avant-garde experience for four days in the Colombian capital. The call is open to national and international galleries that wish to participate in the Galleries or Projects section, complying with the established requirements. Interested galleries must be legally constituted and submit their application through this online application, including their artistic proposal and the required documentation.
Ovidio Claros Polanco, executive president of the Bogota Chamber of Commerce stated that “Art not only enriches our culture, but also boosts economic development, generates jobs and strengthens tourism. ARTBO | Fair has consolidated Bogota as a key epicenter for art in Latin America, connecting galleries, artists and collectors from around the world. This event, in addition to energizing the art market, has positioned our city as an essential destination for culture and business, demonstrating its ability to lead the regional art scene.
For her part, María Paz Gaviria, Manager of Cultural Programs at the CCB, said, “Throughout these 20 years, we have managed to position Bogota as an epicenter of the visual arts through the various initiatives of the ARTBO Program, which has the plasticity and, at the same time, the commitment to cover the visual arts from their different stages of development.
This year we seek to continue fostering networking spaces and encouraging business between collectors, art enthusiasts and gallery owners.
Galleries Section
The registration process for the Galleries section will be open until March 14, 2025 and will be evaluated by an independent committee, made up of prominent gallery directors, who will assess criteria such as professionalism, trajectory, past exhibitions, participation in international fairs and the portfolio of works presented.

Projects Section: contemporary art with curatorship
This section will focus on contemporary art proposals and will be curated by an expert appointed by ARTBO, who will select the galleries by direct invitation. Selected projects will be exhibited as curated gallery content within the Fair, with a risky and experimental proposal.
