La CCB

The fair, organized by the Bogota Chamber of Commerce (CCB) with the support of the Mayor's Office of Antonio Nariño, will be held from Friday through Sunday, August 10 at the exclusive Parque 93. Bogota, August 8, 2025. The Bogota Chamber of Commerce (CCB), with the support of the Local Mayor's Office of Antonio Nariño, launched this Friday 'Talento al Parque', a trade fair in which 100 leather, footwear and leather goods entrepreneurs from the capital's Restrepo Ampliado and San Benito sectors, as well as from the municipality of Villapinzón, will exhibit and market their offer from today until next Sunday, August 10, at the exclusive Parque 93, north of Bogota.
This commercial activity, developed as part of the celebration of the 487th birthday of the capital, seeks to highlight the value of craftsmanship and the identity of these traditional sectors, in addition to opening new markets and increasing the sales of the hundred or so entrepreneurs present at the Fair.
Ovidio Claros Polanco, executive president of the Bogota Chamber of Commerce, said that "more than a trade fair, 'Talento al Parque' is a powerful showcase for the talent and knowledge of entrepreneurs who for generations have dignified the work and livelihood of thousands of families in the sectors of Restrepo Ampliado, San Benito and Villapinzón, working with discipline in leather, footwear and leather goods".
He added: "For the CCB it is a source of pride and inspiration to see how this talent reaches places in the city that, like Parque 93, used to be reserved for big brands and is now the stage for micro and small entrepreneurs of the popular economy".
For this edition of the Fair, it was decided to expand the call for entrepreneurs from Restrepo to Restrepo Ampliado, San Benito and Villapinzón. It is worth remembering that in November 2024 the first version of the event was held, then called Expo Restrepo Parque 93, in which 80 entrepreneurs, exclusively from the traditional Restrepo neighborhood, brought their offerings to Parque 93. In addition, in the days following the event, they were able to close deals for an additional $300 million.
CCB in Restrepo
The support of the Bogota Chamber of Commerce to the fashion sector, and in particular to the Restrepo neighborhood, is reflected in the participation of entrepreneurs from this traditional neighborhood of the capital in [PUENTE], space of Bogota Fashion Week (BFW) in which initiatives of the popular economy integrate the circuits of this prestigious platform of the CCB.
Thanks to [PUENTE] this September, entrepreneurs from Restrepo will be part of the New York Fashion Week and the International Fashion Fair in Madrid.
On the other hand, with the objective of inspiring, transforming and connecting entrepreneurs and businesspeople in the footwear and leather goods sector, the CCB's Fashion Experience and Transformation Center and the Reindustrialization Center - Zasca operate in the Restrepo Local CCB, the latter in conjunction with the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, through iNNpulsa Colombia and with a focus on fashion.
The permanent presence of the CCB in this locality has served as a dynamizer of the territory to impact, in less than a year, more than 1,000 entrepreneurs who have benefited not only with training services, advice and support, but with contact spaces such as pop-up stores, show rooms, events to launch collections, sector trends, participation in important fairs, among others, achieving business partnerships and thus showing the potential of this important area of the city.
