Data for Safety contest entries
Here are the important steps and considerations for the registration process.

Registration Platform: All interested teams must register through the official BCC website at this link.
Deadline: The deadline to register for DATAJAM is February 15, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. No registrations will be accepted after this date.

At the time of registration, teams must fill out a Form with the requested information about each of its members and their tutor: full name, identification number, e-mail address, contact number and name of the institution of higher education to which they currently belong and the selected challenge.
Recommendations:
Only a maximum of 10 teams per university will be accepted. In this sense, the faculties and professors of the different universities of Bogota and Cundinamarca are encouraged to organize internally to register their best 10 teams.
To verify that students are of legal age, please attach a photocopy of your ID card.
To verify that students are enrolled in 2026-I, please attach one of the following documents:
University ID card dated 2026 (if the ID card does not have the date, it will not be valid)
Letter from the university certifying them as a student
Copy of the 2026-I tuition payment receipt showing their identification number.
We recommend not waiting until the last day to register, as if there is an error in the process, no corrections will be accepted after the registration deadline.
It is important to remember that students must be over 18 years of age, be in their 4th semester or above, and all team members must belong to the same university.
Before submitting the information, please check that all team information is correct.
It is important to note that no corrections will be made after the registration deadline. That is to say, teams that register on the last day must ensure that they present all the complete documents, because if they do not comply with the established requirements, the teams will not be registered. It is therefore recommended to register well in advance, and in case of any doubts, please contact the organizing team by e-mail.
Registration Confirmation
Once registration has been completed, teams will receive a confirmation email confirming their registration and informing them that they will move on to the next phase. It is important to check your inbox and spam folder to make sure you have received this confirmation.
Additional considerations
Teams are advised to carefully read all rules, requirements and eligibility criteria before registering.
Any questions or concerns regarding the registration process can be directed to the organizing team via email:
