A legal person is an organization or a group of individuals, which may exercise rights and contract obligations, being represented judicially and extrajudicially.
Classification of Legal Companies:
Simplified Joint Stock Company (SAS).
Limited Partnership.
Sole Proprietorship.

Limited Partnership.

Documents required to register as a Legal Person before the CCB:
Original of identity document.
Printed format of letter of responsibilities legal entity.
Forms available at the CCB's offices.
With this form, the CCB sends the information to the District Treasury Secretariat in order to carry out the registration in the Tax Information Registry (RIT), as long as the activities to be carried out are carried out in Bogota and are taxed with the Industry and Commerce Tax (ICA).
Incorporation of a simplified joint stock company (sole shareholder natural person)

Likewise, verify that the name and telephone number registered in the RUT form are identical to the one registered in the Single Business and Social Registration Form (RUES) and the additional form for registration with other entities.
Remember that all forms are available at the different corporate offices of the CCB.
Types of Incorporation Documents
By private document: If the company to be incorporated has total assets of less than five hundred (500) Minimum Legal Monthly Wages in force or a staff of not more than ten (10) employees and no real estate is contributed (Law 1014 of 2006 for the promotion of the culture of entrepreneurship).
Note: Regardless of the value of the assets or the staff, the company may also be incorporated by private document, through the figure of Simplified Joint Stock Company (SAS), whose characteristics facilitate the conduct of certain businesses (Law 1258 of 2008).
Please note that the private document must contain the personal presentation of all partners or shareholders before a Notary Public or at one of our offices, at the time of filing for registration, regardless of the value of the assets or the number of employees (Article 110 of the Code of Commerce).
When real estate is contributed, the incorporation document must be made through a public deed and the registration tax must be paid at the Public Instruments Office, presenting a copy of the receipt or Certificate of Liberty, proving the previous registration of the public deed at that office when the documents are presented.
