The Bogota Chamber of Commerce takes to the streets to be close to entrepreneurs. For this reason, it will bring popular economy advisors to all the localities of Bogota and the region to assist entrepreneurs and micro-enterprises. The entity seeks to accompany and advise these micro-businesses so that, through digital transformation, they can grow.

Among the main needs of the popular economy is the increase in sales, access to credit opportunities, knowledge of the steps to formalize and make their businesses visible, among others. For this reason, the CCB offers services on three fronts:

Digital literacy: to help entrepreneurs and businesspeople implement tools such as virtual wallets, use of social networks for sales and customer service, making their business visible on the internet, cybercrime prevention and use of the CCB app for quick access to the services the Chamber offers, among others.

In 2023, more than 5,442 digital solutions were implemented by the entrepreneurs visited.

Financial education: which seeks to strengthen money management skills through business tools to keep business accounts, separate business accounts from family accounts, improve money management, and connect with financial institutions. In 2023, of the visits carried out, 1,090 entrepreneurs expressed interest in accessing credit from financial entities.A total of 900 appointments were made with banks and 276 loans were approved for an average of $10,499,000.

Requirements and procedures to increase the levels of business formalization of their businesses, on issues such as the Commercial Registry, RUT, copyrights, firefighters' concept and land use, among others.

In 2023, 44,975 visits were made to entrepreneurs, who learned about the benefits of being formal.
