Under the leadership of the Bogota Chamber of Commerce (CCB) and with the support of the Federation of Traders and Shopkeepers of the Popular Economy and Corferias, comes '+Talante', the first meeting of popular and solidarity economy. The event will take place on July 18, 19 and 20, and will be a favorable scenario to strengthen opportunities and recognize the value and contribution of the popular economy in the local and national economy. During these three days, more than 300 small producers and marketers will be able to benefit from the presence and advice of nearly 50 allied entities such as SENA, the National Savings Fund, Cafam, Positiva and the National Association of Bread Manufacturers (ADEPAN), among others.
Those who accept the invitation will have free access to knowledge and training spaces, business rounds, international experiences, commercial samples from close to 400 entities and entrepreneurs, as well as cultural activities to enjoy with the family; all spaces designed to promote the popular economy. In addition, there are specialized intervention programs focused on getting businesses that are ready to move to the next level to do so.
"From the CCB we have been working hard to strengthen the companies that are part of the popular and solidarity economy of Bogota and the Region, therefore, we promote initiatives such as +Talante, which seeks to facilitate access to financing, consolidate support networks and promote the necessary knowledge so that these entrepreneurs can strengthen themselves, improve their offer and value proposition, and consequently, mobilize the business fabric of the city," said Ovidio Claros, president of the CCB.
The meeting will also include an agenda of knowledge and training, exhibition of programs and projects, business days, international experiences and welfare for participants.
Launches In the context of the first edition of +Talante, the CCB, with its Presidents Forum, will launch the accelerator 'Negocios que piensan mega', a program that seeks to provide support to entrepreneurs who begin their growth path through three fundamental components: inspiration, strategy and business acceleration.
Those businesses that join this initiative, from entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs, will be accompanied by owners, presidents or managers of large companies, who will donate up to six hours of free mentoring to strengthen the business fabric of Bogota and the region.
Likewise, '+Talante' will be the stage for the launching of the musical and business training program 'Freemusic' as an instrument of re-socialization, within the framework of the agreement signed between the CCB and the Mambart Foundation. The initiative is aimed at communities deprived of liberty or in vulnerable conditions.
Those who take part in the program, which will benefit 120 people, will receive training in the fundamentals of music, rhythm, harmony, tuning, live sound editing, as well as basic instruction in Music Business.
