What type of call do you want to make?

Cookies Policy Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá

In order to make this topic easier for you, we want to explain some concepts so that you are clearer about certain issues and regulations that you will learn about as you read this document.

So let´s start with the basics...

What is a cookie?

It is a small text file that is downloaded to a computer or smartphone when the user accesses a website, allowing the platform to recognize this device and save information about preferences or actions. In short, a cookie is a mechanism for storing information about a user and the equipment used for the connection. Thanks to cookies, we remember your preferences so that when you visit us again, you get a better experience.

What types of cookies does the CCB use on its different websites?

At the CCB we have three different types of cookies:

1. System cookies: They are necessary for the operation of the service and the website. They are set in response to some actions performed; such as logging in or filling out forms. These cookies do not store personally identifiable information.

2. Cookies that have a double function, analytical – advertising. They allow monitoring and measurement of visits and traffic to the site, obtaining data to improve its operation. Also, they contribute to improve our web services by providing information on which pages of the site are the most visited and the access and navigation of people.

3. Advertising cookies. In order to offer the most important information about our products and services, we use cookies to detect what content is visited. They also serve to adapt, in some selected positions of our web page, access to the product and additional services of the visitor and check the advertising impact of our web pages to him.

How can you exercise control over cookies? For the CCB, it is important that as a user of our web portals you have the possibility of accepting or rejecting the use of our cookies, therefore, except for the necessary cookies that remain active by default in order to provide you with our services, you can select or modify your preferences.

What happens if I block cookies? If you decide to block cookies, you can restrict what you can do on our website and some features of our web services, however, the normal operation or transactionality of the services will not be affected.

How to view cookies? From any Internet browser, users can search for and view the cookies installed by a certain website, as well as delete them or obtain information from them. Next, we explain which link you must enter to carry out this process, depending on the browser you use:

• Google Chrome: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647?hl=es • Mozilla Firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/es/kb/Delete%20cookies • Internet Explorer: https://support.microsoft.com/es-es/help/278835/how-to-delete- cookiefiles-in-internet-explorer • Safari: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/es/cookies/ We hope that this document has helped you to learn much more about the Cookies Policy of the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce, clarifying any doubts that you may have had on this subject. Remember that for the CCB it is a pleasure to do business with you.
