Competitiveness Program for the Health Sector


The Competitiveness Program for the healthcare sector aims to contribute to the consolidation of economic recovery and the improvement of competitiveness in the sector's companies by promoting the use of technologies for adequate healthcare provision focused on patients. It seeks to create spaces where supply and demand can interact and optimize their services, with a focus on strategic areas such as human talent in healthcare utilizing new technologies, innovation and new business development, sustainability, and internationalization.

Program axes
Exponential digital health in the sector
Objective: Deepening the exponential transformation of the technological offering in the healthcare system to strengthen processes in healthcare institutions.
Interoperability of the medical record Support the Ministry of Health of Colombia and ICT in the development of the roadmap for the Digital Transformation and Interoperability Agenda of the sector 2022-2031.
Strengthening the Healthtech ecosystem Interaction space for supply and demand with HealthTech companies.
Continuing specialized support in the digital transformation of the sector, strengthening spaces where all ecosystem actors can learn, implement, and utilize technologies to improve patient-centered healthcare provision and develop data-driven risk management.
Accompanying and creating discussion spaces for the development of national policies aimed at digital health, with the participation of ecosystem actors (healthcare providers, insurance companies, academia, suppliers, and government), with a special emphasis on the development of Colombia's medical record interoperability policy.

Promoting health promotion, prevention and prediction programs
Development of initiatives for the promotion and prevention of non-communicable chronic diseases with companies and their employees. Raising awareness among companies about the 4 fronts of promotion and prevention, namely cancer, mental health, nutrition, and hypertension, which impact the productivity of companies within the 16 cluster initiatives of the CCB.
Strengthening the sustainability of the system
"Mejor Vía para la Vida" is a strategy that aims to integrate all stakeholders in the road network, transforming healthcare entities into agents of change and promoting a responsible culture focused on generating shared value under social and environmental axes, both within their organizations and with their mobile workforce who utilize their services.
Requirements to participate in the program.
Be located in Bogotá or any of the 59 municipalities within the jurisdiction of the CCB.
Be registered with the CCB.
Have your renewal up to date.
Be part of the Competitiveness Program for the healthcare sector.
